Sketchbook Inspiration

Have you ever wanted to keep a sketchbook but just keep opening it to find you don’t know how to start? This workshop will give you ideas for how to begin, for your page layouts, your colour choices, and help to encourage your freedom to create stunning pages that you can enjoy forever.

Sally is a professional artist and has been keeping sketchbooks for years to record her visual ideas that she later references in her studio for paintings. She will demonstrate the simple thought processes behind her books and give you some great tips on how to relax and enjoy the process of recording your ideas in a sketchbook.

Sketchbooks will be available to buy at this workshop but if you already have one please bring it with you. You can also bring your favourite materials/media/pencils/pens too but there will be lots to try out at Indigo Crow if you don’t have your own.

Please bring your lunch, we will break for half an hour. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available free at Indigo Crow.
