Silver and Copper pendant

Silver pendant workshop with Silversmith, Sally Kheng. Suitable for beginners and all levels.

‪You will choose a shape from your pendant and cut out of a sterling silver sheet. This can be textured and embossed to create a unique surface. Then you will choose either copper, brass or both metals to solder on to add colour and interest to your pendant.

Then you can hand finish in your choice of texture or pattern on the outside. This process will show you how to emboss, shape, file, solder and polish your silver pendant, creating a unique and beautiful piece of jewellery to treasure. ‬Silver plated chains will be made up to any length.

‪All materials will be included and refreshments available in the studio.‬

Please bring your own lunch

SAFETY AND PRACTICALITY – Please wear casual clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty!

• Tie back long hair for safety as we will be using some hand held power tools and a small blow torch for soldering with.
• Nails should not be too long as it will be difficult to use hand tools and hold items securely for polishing.
• Aprons will be provided at the studio.
