I apply collage and mixed media techniques to create surreal, dream-like images.. Some of them have been described as “Quite bonkers!”. I also make humorous ceramic sculptures, often based on the famous and infamous.
A deep fascination with animals underpins much of my practice, from collages where the animal world fights back to playful animal–human hybrid sculptures. Now, that same pull is leading me back to painting them once more, from the domestic to the wild.
I exhibit regularly in exhibitions local to Lincolnshire. Further afield my art has been selected for the ING Discerning Eye at the Mall Galleries in London, John Ruskin Prize, Wells Art Contemporary, SAA Artists of the Year and VAA International Online.
At Indigo Crow I teach workshops in business skills for artists, painting and collage. I am also the newsletter editor and help with a myriad of things to help keep the gallery running smoothly
