Mixed Media Seascapes
Rachel Rogers, professional mixed media artist, will push your boundaries in this full day workshop. Learn to use acrylic paints, wax resist, watercolours, inks, charcoal and pastels to create 2 semi-abstract seascapes using lots of different techniques. You will be working bold and bright.
This workshop is designed to build confidence and challenge traditional thinking on seascape style paintings, focussing on movement in the picture. If you enjoy being experimental with media and thinking outside the box then this is the workshop for you!
A mount be provided for your selected painting and is included in the price to finish and frame your final piece.
All materials will be provided at Indigo Crow.
Please bring some lunch or pop next door to the deli as we will have a half hour break.
Tea & coffee and biscuits are free during your workshop.
About the tutor:
Rachel Rogers is an abstract painter whose inspiration is rooted in landscape and coastal scenery. The Wolds and fens of Lincolnshire and further afield, the coastal waters of Norfolk and Cornwall are among her favourite places to paint. Rachel’s new work celebrates strong images of line, tone and texture and bold colours.
