an art exhibition celebrating animals in art

From curious cats and loyal companions to wilder creatures, this exhibition brings together a wonderfully varied collection of artwork inspired by the animal kingdom.

Featuring 35+ artists, selected through an open call, the exhibition showcases a mix of established artists alongside those exhibiting in a gallery for the very first time, bringing with them an exciting range of ideas, styles and perspectives.

The exhibition runs for two weeks,. Open from 10am to 4pm every day except Mondays. Everyone is welcome and entry is free. There will also be plenty to tempt you, with a lovely selection of affordable original artwork, prints and cards available to buy.

Why animals?

Fiona Hodges, who has curated this exhibition is a self-confessed mad cat lady with a lifelong love of animals and creating art featuring them. The theme began with that interest and grew into an open invitation to artists to explore the animal world in their own unique ways.
