Jewellery with UV Resin
Make yourself and friends some individual jewellery for Christmas in this new workshop with Sally Kheng.
Come and learn about this incredible medium for jewellery making!
Using UV instant setting resin you will be shown how to layer the resin, capturing tiny pieces of different materials such as flowers, leaves, shells and glitter in the middle. Sally Kheng, our jewellery designer here at Indigo Crow will give you a demo first then let you loose to make a pendant and earrings with her guidance and wonderful collection of bits and pieces to inspire you. There will be many pendant shapes and sizes to choose from and all your materials are included.
There will also be assorted chains and clasps so you can tailor make your pendant to any length. Warning…this can be addictive!
Please bring your own lunch. Tea, coffee and cake will be free on the day!
About Sally Kheng:
Sally is a professional artist and silversmith. This workshop is an extension of her creativity and use of different media in jewellery making. She has been teaching for 30 years and always enjoys trying and teaching something new.
Sally Kheng studied art and design at Trent College in Nottingham and fine art at Edinburgh College of Art. She has spent many years sketching and painting her local Lincolnshire landscape and selling her work on the East Coast of England.
She regularly teaches painting workshops using the demo technique making them suitable for all levels of experience. Sally’s workshops push the boundaries of traditional watercolour landscape painting to semi abstract, bold and colourful representations.
