Abstract Woodland Workshop
Immerse yourself in a creative day inspired by the beauty, textures and atmosphere of woodland landscapes. In this full-day workshop, you will explore a range of mixed-media techniques, with materials including wax resist, watercolour, acrylic paint, and pastels to create expressive semi-abstract woodland scenes.
Through guided demonstrations and individual support, you will experiment with layering, mark-making, colour and texture to develop your own interpretation of woodland scenes. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist looking to try new techniques, this workshop is designed for all abilities.
All materials are provided, so simply bring your enthusiasm and creativity. By the end of the day, you will have completed at least three finished pieces, and a mount will be provided for your favourite artwork.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be freely available at Indigo Crow. We will stop for a half hour break, so please bring a packed lunch or pop to the wonderful deli next door.
About the tutor:
Rachel Rogers, professional mixed media artist, and known for her colourful landscapes, will increase your confidence in the use of colour with this full day workshop.
