Atmospheric Moorland in Ink and Watercolours
Using a combination of fluid inks and high quality watercolours, join me for a day of creating a Moorland in winter sun.
Focusing on achieving atmosphere, we will paint a winter sky, practice texture and aim for that bleak almost treeless landscape with a ground full of undefined rocks and vegetation.
Be prepared to play and experiment with the materials and your design.
I will give you step by step easy to follow instructions as we practice:
- Combining fluid inks with watercolour
- Blending colours for a winter sky
- Creating textures using a variety of techniques
- Achieving depth and distance in the landscape
All these techniques are transferable to other artworks you might paint.

Karin Christensen is a Lincolnshire based artist working mainly in watercolours. She teaches workshops in the UK and Norway.
