Join me for an afternoon of painting rustic doors using ink pen and watercolours.
Learn to create that weatherworn impression we find on old woodwork and bricks.
We will practice a wide variety of techniques to create texture and unique personality using artist quality materials:
- Mixing ink pen with watercolours
- Create a variety of textures
- Colour mixes for wood and bricks
- Achieve depth and 3D effect
- Painting in layers
All these techniques are transferable to other watercolours you might paint.

Karin Christensen is a Lincolnshire based artist working mainly in watercolours. She teaches workshops in the UK and Norway. She likes to travel and work on location, often using a combination of ink and watercolours. Karin is a member of the Lincolnshire Artists Society and has been teaching workshops for many years.
