Printing On Fabric Using Plastic Bags
In this workshop you will creating several pieces of printed fabric that will be unique & can be used as they are or made into other items.
This workshop is suitable for all levels. It is also good fun & very creative.
Firstly we will take a moment to look at colour & what works well together.
Then we will use simple tools such as old credit cards, strong card, cotton buds, sponges to create some interesting pieces.
Then we will use this technique slightly differently to print on top of the previous printing.

I am a textile artist based in Woodhall spa, Lincolnshire. I enjoy using a range of techniques in my work. These include free motion embroidery & printing, particularly collagraph. I combine these techniques to emulated the subtle yet vibrant colours & textures I see in nature. I love sharing techniques with others to help them explore their creativity.
