Learn how to create strong lines and vibrant colours.
Using fluid inks and mixing these with artist quality watercolours, we will paint colourful amaryllis flowers.
Combining inks with watercolours gives us more options to play with, focusing on linework, composition and texture.
Painting in layers, we will consider how to create texture, vibrancy and a strong expression.
Using fluid inks challenges us to be brave and experiment, something easily transferable to our general painting practice.
Be prepared to play.
Take home your artworks, new knowledge and inspiration.
Tea, coffee and biscuits included but please bring a lunch.
Karin Christensen:
Karin Christensen is a Lincolnshire based artist working mainly in watercolours. She teaches workshops in the UK and Norway. She likes to travel and work on location, often using a combination of ink and watercolours. Karin is a member of the Lincolnshire Artists Society and has been teaching workshops for many years.
